The European Drinking Water Directive (EU) 2020/2184 is a mandatory directive for all EU member states. It was implemented in Germany through the amendment of the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) in June 2023. The KTW assessment basis of the Federal Environment Agency has been in force since 21.03.2021. § Section 15 TrinkwV - individual standard (gesetze-im-internet.de)
Only materials that are declared safe for human consumption may be used in drinking water pipes. The requirements are strict: the only valid document approved for use in the drinking water sector is the confirmation of conformity in accordance with KTW-BWGL. This is associated with mandatory annual monitoring by an accredited testing body. The certification body is also obliged to list the valid confirmations of conformity on the homepage. All other certificates and test certificates will lose their validity on 21.03.2021.

Transparent costs: No hidden costs, commissions or unexpected fees. A fixed RIAN® partner fee enables you to plan your finances with certainty.
Employees: 3-4 employees are required for a renovation team. Training and/or experience in the installation sector will speed up their training considerably, but lateral entrants can also be trained. Your employees will be trained and supervised by our RISAN® experts.
Investment: A specially developed plant and machinery is required for each refurbishment team. These initial and one-off investment costs for the equipment amount to approx. € 300,00.00 per team; experience has shown that the machines can then be used for decades. RISAN® supports you in the selection and purchase advice of the machines, which you purchase directly from the manufacturer without any surcharges by RISAN®. Depending on availability, used RISAN® machines can be made available to new RISAN® partners for a limited period on a rental model.
As a RISAN® partner, you have access to comprehensive training and ongoing support. We recognize that your success is closely linked to your understanding and expertise of the RISAN® system. That's why we offer expert training to provide you with all the knowledge you need to use the system effectively.
